Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking an experienced nurse leader to direct nursing services and ensure high-quality patient care at the Covington facility. The role emphasizes staffing integrity, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance to support PAM Health’s mission.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license in Louisiana, a Master’s degree or progress toward one, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS; five years of clinical nursing and three years

• Five years of clinical nursing experience; three years in nursing management preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS.
• Certification in a specified field (CNE, CRRN, CCRN, PCCN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs all nursing service activities for the facility assigned by making staff/patient ratio recommendations.
• Maintains a system to ensure adequate staff for provision of nursing care.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for nursing service in line with PAM Health standards.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for nursing service in compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedure and accreditation standards.
• Active RN License in the state.
• Master's Degree, or active progression toward a Master's Degree, is required.
• Regardless of degree (AD, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters) a minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience is required and three years of experience in nursing management preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Certification in a specified field preferred (CNE, CRRN, CCRN, PCCN).
