Job summary

PAM Health is seeking an accomplished Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) to lead nursing services across the hospital. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, staffing optimization, and adherence to accreditation standards.

You will liaison between staff and administration and drive policies to ensure safe, high-quality care. The ideal candidate holds an RN license in good standing in Florida, a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, and at least 3 years in nursing

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing in the state where the hospital resides (Florida).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Nursing.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience.
• Three (3) years of nursing management experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Certification in a specified field (CNE, CRRN, CCRN, PCCN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the nursing unit(s)/hospitals.
• Direct all nursing service activities for the hospital assigned by making recommendations for staff/patient ratios.
• Maintain a system to determine and provide adequate staff for provision of appropriate nursing care.
• Serve as a liaison between staff and administration.
• Promote productivity of staff.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for nursing service in compliance with PAM Health system policies and accreditation standards.
