CenterPointe Hospital seeks an accomplished Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing strategy and clinical excellence in a premier behavioral health setting. You will work with the CEO and senior leaders to strengthen patient care, safety, and staff development.

This executive role expects 10+ years RN leadership, MO license, and a track record in inpatient psychiatry. You will guide workforce planning and regulatory compliance while driving organizational growth across the campus.

Qualifications

• Active MO RN license or reciprocity eligibility.
• 10+ years RN experience with progressive nursing leadership.
• Experience in behavioral health inpatient psychiatry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing strategy, clinical excellence, and operational performance.
• Develop, mentor, and support nursing leaders and frontline staff.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state and regulatory standards.
• Drive workforce planning, staffing effectiveness, and nursing resource management.
• Partner with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor quality indicators and champion performance improvement initiatives.

• Proven Nursing Leadership (CNO, DON, or equivalent).
• Behavioral Health Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting (required).

• BSN required; MSN or mental health nursing preferred.
• 6+ years RN experience (10+ preferred).
• 3+ years progressive nursing management.
• 2+ years behavioral health RN experience in inpatient psychiatry.
