Job summary

Lennar Mortgage seeks a Chief Compliance Officer to lead the Compliance Management System, ensuring adherence to federal and state mortgage laws, investor requirements, and internal policies. This role partners with executive leadership to mitigate risk using regulatory expertise, data analytics, and AI-enabled processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in mortgage banking, financial services compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, or related functions.
• Experience managing state and federal regulatory examinations and licensing programs.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations including RESPA, TILA, ECOA, FCRA, HMDA, SAFE Act and state laws.
• Experience delivering enterprise-wide compliance training programs.
• Proven leadership in developing compliance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain an enterprise-wide Compliance Management System aligned with CFPB expectations and mortgage best practices.
• Advise executive management on regulatory developments, risks, and business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Legal, Operations, IT, Information Security, Marketing, Servicing, and other leadership on compliance implications of initiatives.
• Oversee licensing, regulatory examinations, communications, remediation planning, and issue resolution.
• Drive AI governance, model risk oversight, and responsible AI practices across the organization.
• Develop monitoring, testing, and reporting frameworks; establish KRIs and dashboards.
