Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Head of Medical Value & Organized Systems Engagement to lead the medical engagement strategy across payer and health-system stakeholders. You will oversee three field-facing teams and position Sanofi as a strategic medical partner for payers, PBMs, GPOs, and organized health systems.

Qualifications

• Advanced medical or scientific degree required (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
• 10+ years of related industry and clinical experience, including field medical, MVO, payer, or health-system engagement roles, with field team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, regulatory and payer environment, and current health-system trends.
• Deep understanding of data analytics, real-world evidence, quality improvement, and clinical informatics.
• Fluency in spoken and written business English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Medical Value & Organized Systems Engagement teams, ensuring a cohesive One Sanofi approach to payer and health-system engagement.
• Engage with national payers, PBMs, and GPOs to inform coverage and formulary decisions.
• Direct engagement with regional health plans, tailoring clinical and value evidence to populations.
• Act as enterprise medical lead for assigned health systems, integrating Sanofi evidence into care pathways and partnerships.
• Partner with Integrated Evidence & Patient Outcomes pillars to enable real-world evidence and AI/ML-enabled insights in decision making.
• Guide priorities for real-world evidence, outcomes research, and clinical trial partnerships in collaboration with related teams.
• Coordinate with Market Access and Medical units to align field engagement with priorities.
• Capture payer and health-system insights to inform internal priorities across medical, access, and R&D.
• Define and track KPIs showing medical value and oversee field engagement budgets.
