Job summary

Green Key Resources seeks a Chief Mechanical Engineer to lead architecture, design, testing, and validation of ruggedized defense hardware. You will own the mechanical function and drive decisions across engineering, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver mission-critical products.

You will oversee structural, thermal, vibration, and modal analyses, ensure DFx practices, and guide prototypes in fast-paced, high-stakes environments requiring top security clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience leading architecture, design, testing, and validation for mission-critical hardware.
• Exposure to robotics, autonomy, unmanned systems, or related hardware domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical engineering function from concept to deployment for ruggedized defense systems.
• Own the mechanical architecture and drive technical decisions across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Plan and execute environmental, reliability, and qualification testing to validate performance.
