Factor Search in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Vice President of Mechanical Construction to provide executive leadership and strategic direction for a growing mechanical construction business.

This role will oversee major projects and operations, lead high-performing teams, strengthen client relationships, and drive profitable growth across data centers, mission critical, healthcare, and other complex commercial projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in mechanical construction.
• Senior leadership or executive-level responsibility.
• Experience leading large-scale, high-value projects in mission critical sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the mechanical construction division.
• Oversee multiple large-scale mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning.
• Drive safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and profitability across projects.
• Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team (Directors, PMs, Superintendents).
• Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams on major pursuits and risk management.
• Maintain executive-level relationships with clients, general contractors, and industry partners.
• Oversee division P&L, revenue growth, backlog, and resource planning.
• Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to drive growth.
• Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, and succession planning.
