Job summary

Prevail Recruiting in Phoenix is seeking a senior construction executive to build and lead a centralized preconstruction organization and drive financial performance across multiple business units.

The role reports to the COO and focuses on profitability improvements, system-building, and leadership development for an expanding heavy civil contractor. The candidate should have a background in preconstruction and estimating leadership with a track record of transforming functions.

Qualifications

• Built or transformed an estimating function.
• Senior construction executive with enterprise-wide remit.
• Experience leading centralized preconstruction and estimating functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide preconstruction and estimating.
• Standardize estimating processes across operating divisions.
• Improve estimate accuracy and estimate-to-actual performance.
• Partner with Operations and Finance to improve profitability.
• Build and mentor estimating and operational leaders.
• Provide executive oversight with full P&L accountability.
• Develop scalable systems and processes to support growth.
