Job summary

Summit Construction Advisors in Phoenix is seeking a relationship‑driven Business Development Manager to expand its mechanical construction presence in the Phoenix market. You will focus on developing new opportunities in the multi‑family sector and building lasting client relationships with owners, developers, GCs, architects, and engineers to drive growth.

This role rewards proactive outreach, strategic sales, and collaboration with Operations, Estimating, and Preconstruction to capture

Qualifications

3+ years of BD, client development, or sales in mechanical construction.
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
Experience selling to owners, developers, general contractors, or design teams.
Multi-family construction experience preferred.
Existing relationships in Arizona construction market preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic BD plan for Phoenix market.
Build and maintain relationships with owners, developers, GC, architects, engineers.
Identify and pursue mechanical construction opportunities in multi-family sectors.
Represent the company at industry events and meetings.
Generate qualified leads through proactive outreach and market intelligence.
Collaborate with Operations, Estimating, Preconstruction for project pursuit.
Assist with proposal strategy, presentations, and client meetings.
Maintain opportunity tracking and forecasting in CRM.
Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities.
Develop long-term client relationships for repeat business and partnerships.
