Job summary

Great Sky, Inc. is seeking a VP of Manufacturing & Supply Chain to own the business side of hardware production.

You will define long-term manufacturing strategy, deepen foundry relationships, and build the supply chain infrastructure to move from research to reliable customer delivery. You will coordinate with technical teams, owning the commercial and operational relationships that bring this deep-tech hardware to market.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, or ops in semiconductors or deep tech hardware.
• Experience building foundry relationships and managing complex partnerships.
• Track record building supply chain infra at early-stage hardware companies.
• Fluency in semiconductor manufacturing processes to credibility with engineers/scientists.
• Experience with export controls and ITAR compliance.
• Strong commercial instincts to align manufacturing with customer acquisition.
• Comfortable with long lead times, capital commitments, and ambiguous demand.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term manufacturing strategy and capacity planning.
• Build and manage foundry relationships, including agreements and pricing.
• Coordinate with technical teams on testing, iterations, and yield perspective.
• Develop supply chain infrastructure with repeatable procurement for testing and demos.
• Own sourcing, vendor management, packaging and assembly strategy, QA and yield management.
• Oversee shipping, logistics, and export controls / ITAR compliance.
