Job summary

Skyryse is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead manufacturing operations and the supply chain in El Segundo, CA. This role will drive production planning, capacity management, and continuous improvement to meet quality goals while ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

The candidate will have a proven background in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing, with strong strategic planning, leadership, and supplier collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain with at least 5+ years in director-level leadership.
• Experience in Aerospace, Automotive, or similar technical industries.
• Strong strategic planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement track record.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct manufacturing operations including production planning, scheduling, and capacity management.
• Lead supplier relationship management, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
• Develop production plans aligned with objectives and customer requirements, monitor progress and bottlenecks.
• Build and develop the production organization, drive safety, compliance with aerospace regulations, and a culture of accountability.
