Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.
• Extensive knowledge of hotel equipment and systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities for diagnosing complex issues.
• Budgeting and financial management to allocate resources efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the hotel's engineering department, overseeing maintenance operations for all equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment lifespans and minimize disruptions.
• Direct and supervise maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Manage budget allocations for maintenance supplies, equipment purchases, and contractor services.
• Evaluate and prioritize maintenance requests, balancing guest needs with resource efficiency and long-term sustainability.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, identifying potential risks and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare reports and present recommendations to management regarding maintenance operations, budget needs, and potential improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire, delegate tasks, and resolve conflict effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.

Compensation/Pay

$27 - $31/hr
