Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation seeks a senior lending executive to lead the Credit Union’s loan portfolio, including commercial, mortgage, and consumer lending. You will develop and implement lending policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive profitability while supporting member interests.

You will manage underwriting, processing, and documentation teams, mentor staff, and coordinate with other departments to align with the organization’s strategic plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance (or related field).
• Minimum 10 years in lending management with focus on collections, mortgage, and commercial lending.
• Extreme attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with electronic delivery systems and fillable documents.

Responsibilities

• Participate in strategic planning for the Credit Union.
• Oversee loan department functions: underwriting, processing, documentation, approvals/denials.
• Lead collections and centralized lending, including real estate.
• Set department goals aligned with the credit union’s business plan.
• Develop and monitor lending policies and procedures; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Represent the credit union at external functions.
• Mentor and train loan staff; monitor performance standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain policy consistency.
• Direct team meetings, reporting, and business development activities.
