Northwell Health in Danbury, CT seeks an experienced Labor Relations leader to oversee policy development, negotiations, and advisory services across the system. You will guide union strategy, provide executive coaching, and partner with HR to align labor relations with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 15 years of technical experience, preferred.
• 5 years of leadership experience, preferred.
• 7-10 years experience as first chair- Chief spokesperson for union negotiations

Responsabilités

• Provides labor relations support with limited direction from leadership; implements, interprets, communicates, educates and, where appropriate, represents the employer as the spokesperson in collective bargaining.
• Leads collective bargaining strategy and negotiations for assigned bargaining units, partnering with senior leaders to develop strategy, align priorities, prepare and evaluate proposals, and achieve outcomes that support Northwell's operational, workforce and financial objectives.
• Contributes through a combination of key technical labor relations expertise and technical leadership that regularly provides enterprise level guidance to the Health System.
• Manages operational projects and initiates value-added projects to maximize positive labor relations; serves as key participant in creating, planning, and implementing strategic initiatives with accountability for the effectiveness of programs and processes.
