Reddit, Inc. seeks a pragmatic IP expert to lead its global IP strategy within the Legal team. You will apply your depth in copyright, patent, trademark, and trade secrets to guide litigation, licensing, and portfolio development for a fast‑growing tech platform.

You will partner with engineering, product, and outside counsel to mitigate risk, protect Reddit's brand, and shape the company's IP roadmap across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• J.D. and current license in a US state bar.
• 10+ years as an IP litigator, ideally with big firm and in-house tech experience.
• Strong governing knowledge of copyright, patent, trademark, and trade secret law.
• Proven ability to lead on diverse IP matters and advise cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Define and evolve Reddit's worldwide IP litigation strategy in line with product roadmaps and business goals.
• Oversee the global IP portfolio and align with business priorities and differentiation.
• Shape international litigation posture on emerging IP matters and licensing negotiations.
• Translate competitive IP landscapes into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Advise engineers, product, and legal partners, and outside counsel on IP matters.
• Collaborate to mitigate IP risk and grow Reddit's patent portfolio.
• Make sound judgments, navigate risks, and manage internal/external challenges.
