Job summary

Nearmap seeks a Regulatory Affairs Leader to shape insurance regulatory strategy and lead our filing program across states. You will build playbooks, engage regulators, and advise on best practices for Nearmap AI products in admitted markets.

You will own the end-to-end filing process, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance while advancing Nearmap’s regulatory position in a dynamic policy landscape.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in property and casualty rate filings or regulatory affairs.
• Hands-on experience managing complete filing lifecycles.
• California regulatory experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to translate model documentation for regulators.

Responsibilities

• Own Nearmap rate filing end-to-end: scoping, materials, submission, and objections.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to build filing libraries.
• Maintain state-by-state filing requirements and confidentiality rules.
• Advise product/data science on filing implications before release.
• Develop advisory organization strategy and ongoing registration plans.
• Partner with Legal on privilege, contracts, and compliance questions.
