Job summary

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District invites applications for the Vice President of Instruction at Cuyamaca College. The VPI leads instructional programs, curriculum, scheduling, enrollment management and workforce initiatives with a strong equity focus for 9,000+ students each semester.

Reporting to the President, the VPI chairs governance and collaborates with faculty and staff to drive access, success and completion while ensuring alignment with the district's strategic plan and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Three years of increasingly responsible management experience in an educational institution, with at least two years in a related area.
• Specialized mastery in education/management and ability to apply regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervise planning, organization, and coordination of instructional programs and student services.
• Direct curriculum development, program review, and scheduling to meet student and workforce needs.
• Recruit, supervise, evaluate department directors/managers and staff.
• Advise the President on programs, policies, and strategic planning.
• Prepare and manage budgets; ensure compliance with fiscal policies.
• Attend governance meetings and represent the college/district as needed.

Education
