Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution with related administrative leadership experience.
• Classroom teaching experience is required.
• Five years of senior management experience in higher education, preferably in a community college.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for instructional programs and services across general education, transfer, career and technical education, distance education, and more.
• Lead development, evaluation, and expansion of curricula to support student achievement.
• Collaborate with Academic Senate and faculty on governance, curriculum, and student learning outcomes.
• Supervise instructional administrators, division chairs, and staff; oversee recruitment, professional development, and performance management.
• Oversee instructional operations including master class schedule, enrollments, and course approvals.
• Build partnerships with business, K-12 districts, higher education, and industry for pathways and workforce programs.
• Develop and administer instructional budget and align resources with priorities and funding opportunities.
• Provide leadership for accreditation, assessment, program review, and continuous improvement.
