Job summary

Coalinga College is seeking a Vice President of Educational Services and Chief Instructional Officer to lead all instructional programs and services, including general education, transfer, CTE, online instruction, and academic support services.

The VPES/CIO will drive curriculum development, accreditation activities, scheduling, and budget management while partnering with deans, faculty, and external stakeholders to ensure student success and program currency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in education, administration, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of administrative/management experience in a community college or similar setting.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills; effective written and oral communication.
• Experience with library services, educational programs, and technology in an academic environment.
• Evidence of successful teaching experience, preferably at the college level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instructional program design, delivery, and evaluation across departments.
• Lead accreditation efforts and engage with state/federal agencies.
• Develop budgets and strategic plans for instructional services and facilities.
• Supervise faculty and staff, including performance evaluations and development.
• Collaborate with learning technology teams and external partners.
