Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer to lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and secure enablement of business initiatives. The CISO partners with the Board and senior leadership to protect reliability, trust, and regulatory compliance.

The role oversees cyber resilience, incident response, and governance across IT, OT, cloud, data protection, and AI initiatives with a focus on risk reduction and uninterrupted service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of information security experience.
• CISSP and/or CISM certifications required or preferred.
• US security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cybersecurity organization and strategy for enterprise-wide protection.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, the Board, and stakeholders on risk, regulation, and investments.
• Oversee cyber risk management, incident response, resilience, and business continuity.
• Develop standards and governance for information security, OT/ICS, and third-party risk.
• Drive AI security governance, model risk, data protection, and secure development practices.
• Manage security teams and ensure secure SDLC integration across projects.
