Job summary

Origin Bank seeks a Chief Information Security Officer to lead the enterprise information security program, aligning cybersecurity with business goals, risk appetite, and regulatory expectations. The role reports to Risk leadership and supports board oversight and regulatory readiness.

You'll direct governance, threat protection, incident response, third‑party risk, and data protection, partnering with Technology, Legal and Compliance to maintain a strong control environment across the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8-12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk management.
• 5+ years of leadership experience within a financial services or regulated environment.
• Experience supporting regulatory examinations and interacting with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the enterprise information security program aligned with risk appetite and strategic priorities.
• Oversees information security governance, policy, standards, and regulatory reporting to senior leadership.
• Directs threat protection, vulnerability management, and security operations to protect information assets.
• Leads incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and resilience coordination with cross‑functional teams.
• Oversees third‑party risk management and vendor security expectations across the lifecycle.
• Partners with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to support regulatory examinations and audit readiness.
