Job summary
The North Carolina Community College System Office seeks a strategic CIO to lead enterprise technology strategy, architecture, cybersecurity, and data-enabled operations for the 58 colleges. Reporting to the System President, the CIO will drive modernization, interoperability, and service delivery across the system.
This role requires executive leadership, strong collaboration with college CIOs, and a track record in large-scale IT programs, governance, and budget stewardship to advance student
Qualifications
- Experience developing and executing enterprise technology strategies and modernization roadmaps.
- Strong leadership in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data platforms, and cloud.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple colleges and executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop multi-year enterprise technology strategy and roadmap aligned with NCCCS priorities.
- Lead enterprise architecture, interoperability, security, and platform modernization.
- Oversee major enterprise applications (ERP, SIS, CRM, LMS) and data analytics platforms.
- Establish governance, vendor management, and budget stewardship for technology investments.
