Job summary

OculusIT is seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer to lead technology strategy, digital transformation, IT operations, and data initiatives in support of growth and superior student/customer experiences. The CIO will partner with senior leaders to modernize ERP/CRM systems, strengthen cybersecurity, governance, and risk management, and drive AI and analytics initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive technology experience with 7+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, data, and IT governance.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Higher education / EdTech experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's IT and digital transformation strategy.
• Lead IT operations, infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, and technology modernization.
• Oversee ERP, CRM, SIS, LMS, HRIS, and other critical business systems.
• Drive cybersecurity, data privacy, IT governance, risk management, and business continuity.
• Lead data, analytics, automation, and AI adoption initiatives.
• Manage IT budgets, technology investments, vendors, and strategic partnerships.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology team.
• Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align technology with organizational goals.
• Identify emerging technologies and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
