Job summary

HHM is seeking a Chief Engineer for our Bellevue hotel to lead maintenance, ensure guest comfort, and uphold sustainability standards across the property.

You will supervise technicians, manage budgets and vendor bids, oversee small projects and life-safety systems, and ensure compliance with codes. The role requires HVAC certification and prior supervisory maintenance experience; heavy lifting and standing are expected.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising maintenance staff
• Experience managing bids, quotes, and vendor contracts
• Oversee Property Improvement Plans (PIPs) and report progress
• Perform and supervise repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing
• Troubleshoot kitchen equipment and HVAC pumps; install TVs
• Maintain PM records and life-safety system tests
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes
• Maintain exterior and curb appeal per sustainability guidelines
• Follow MSDS and OSHA safety standards

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, and coach associates
• Manage and coordinate vendor bids and contracts
