Job summary

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a seasoned senior operations leader to oversee and optimize the organization’s core services, resource planning, deployment, and utilization. The role focuses on developing standards, KPIs, and strategic plans for staffing, logistics, and financial performance.

The position requires directing cross-functional teams, establishing policies, and monitoring organizational performance against goals.

Qualifications

• Must have over 10 years of experience in a senior operations position within a healthcare setting.
• Experience with multisite, multistate operations, business modeling, and resource allocation and management.
• Proven track record of increased profitability, improved performance and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and make recommendations for improvement to the organization’s core services focusing on resource planning, deployment and utilization.
• Develop short-term and long-term strategies for improving resource management.
• Direct an internal team that reviews and monitors daily KPIs in support of business operations.
• Directs the preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives.
