Job summary

The President of Johns Hopkins Health Plans leads the overall management of the health plans portfolio, including Employer Health Programs, US Family Health Plan, Priority Partners and Advantage MD. You will steer strategy, financial performance, and operations for nearly 400,000 members and over $3 billion in revenue.

Reporting to the Johns Hopkins Medicine executive leadership, you will mentor leaders, drive efficiency, and partner with Johns Hopkins Medicine’s delivery system to align plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or related field; advanced degree preferred (MBA/MPH/MD).
• Extensive health insurance/managed care leadership experience.
• Proven P&L ownership and executive-level track record in complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full P&L and operations for Johns Hopkins Health Plans and its products.
• Articulate vision and drive strategic initiatives across plans and programs.
• Lead financial management, product development, actuarial, regulatory, sales and operations.
• Mentor staff and recruit leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities.
• Align business design and processes with Johns Hopkins Medicine’s mission.
