Gray Local Media Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President/General Manager for its Charlotte, NC location. The VP/GM will report to a Senior Operating Officer and oversee all aspects of the station in a competitive, decentralized culture.

The role emphasizes leadership in sales, news, and marketing with a track record of growing both broadcast and digital viewership. The ideal candidate has prior GM or GSM experience in broadcasting, strong strategic planning skills, and the ability to drive

Formación

Four-year degree is required.
10+ years media experience, including GM or GSM roles.
Experience in a top 100 market is preferred.
Ability and willingness to become a community leader.
Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsabilidades

Lead a fully functioning multi-platform media station with a focus on growing revenue and audience.
Develop strategic plans and operational plans for the station's growth in multi-platform content delivery and revenue generation.
Provide visible leadership and build relationships with clients and partners.
Communicate effectively with department heads and employees to foster collaboration.
Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
Oversee all financial statements and station budgets, ensuring compliance.
