Job description

Lead Advisor is a wealth management consulting and search firm. This role is for a client.

Our client, a wealth management and financial planning organization based in Midtown, is hiring a Chief Growth Officer (CGO). The CGO will serve as a leadership team member who is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the experienced wealth management advisors affiliated with the firm. The CGO will lead practice management and teaming solutions, field engagement programs and other collaborative work to ensure a supportive and productive environment.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Build and deliver firm-wide experienced advisor productivity systems.
  • Coach and consult with advisors to meet their planning and business goals.
  • Consult with advisors on ensemble creation, team building and succession planning.
  • Consult with practice owners on business owner strategies including vision planning, business model design and goal assessment.
  • Create and facilitate workshops, skill building and coaching sessions.
  • Build and track the annual strategic business plan for the experienced advisor segment of the firm.
  • Own the firm’s experienced advisor strategy while collaborating with other Chiefs on the leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10 years of leadership experience: (strategic planning, program execution, team management.)
  • Expertise in sales coaching and practice management consulting specific to the wealth management and financial planning industry.
  • Coaching and other leadership certifications and credentials preferred.
