Job description

Tempo is redefining the live events industry as the first true event aggregator, seamlessly integrating social engagement, AI-driven video creation, and event discovery into a single, dynamic platform. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, Tempo consolidates the fragmented event ecosystem, delivering real-time, hyper-personalized event recommendations, and maximizing revenue for artists, venues, and promoters. We are seeking a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) who is passionate about driving revenue growth and enhancing our market presence.

Position Overview:

As the CGO of Tempo, you will lead our user acquisition strategies, ensuring that we achieve our ambitious growth and targets. You will work closely with our executive team to align our sales, marketing, customer success and revenue efforts, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • User Growth Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive user growth strategies, including but not limited to digital, online and influencer marketing.
  • Market Penetration: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, expanding our reach and establishing Tempo as a leader in social connection and event organization.
  • Customer Success: Oversee customer success efforts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions, optimize sales and marketing efforts, and measure performance.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for the sales, marketing, and customer success teams, ensuring efficient use of resources and achieving financial goals.
  • Public Representation: Represent Tempo at industry events, conferences, and in media engagements, enhancing our visibility and reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a C-Suite or senior business development executive in a technology or event organization company, with a track record of driving substantial user growth.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing user growth strategies, including sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives.
  • Reputation in the music and events industry with some name recognition, enhancing our credibility and market presence.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics to make informed decisions and optimize performance.
  • Passion for social connection and event organization, with a deep understanding of the market and trends.
  • A strong network and experience with fundraising.

Compensation:

  • A competitive starting base salary of $150,000 - $250,000 upon initial funding, plus a variable performance-based bonus structure. This structure is designed to reward those with a higher reward for lower base salaries.
