An established industry player is seeking a strategic finance leader to drive financial operations and growth initiatives. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to lead a talented team while developing and implementing financial strategies that support both organic and inorganic growth. You'll collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment across the organization and manage critical financial functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. Job responsibilities and duties include:
Plan, direct, and coordinate operational activities as a member of senior management, with the help of subordinate executives and staff managers
Lead the finance and accounting operations of our portfolio company
Develop and implement business and financial strategies focused on organic and inorganic growth.
Manage and lead a team of finance professionals.
Drive effective strategic decision-making through financial analyses.
Communicate with key stakeholders within and outside the business to ensure alignment and transparency.
Drive a high-velocity Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) function to deliver growth.
Collaborate with company leadership to implement new growth initiatives.
Develop and implement scenario planning, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic objectives.
Manage capital allocation and financing decisions to optimize resources and support business goals.
Ensure regulatory compliance in all financial operations
This position will have both project and personnel management responsibilities. This position will manage at least 5 of subordinate employees with titles of: Regional Controllers; Finance Analyst.
Minimum Requirements:
Masters Degree in Finance, Management Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or related Finance, Management or Business degree plan, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.
Qualified candidates must also have demonstrable knowledge, experience, skill, and proficiency with the following:
Developing financial reporting, including auditing, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis and cash flow management
Business Statement Analysis
Quantitative modeling
ERP
Experience with system implementation and integration as well as vendor and stakeholder management
Position is fully remote. 5% domestic travel req.
