About the Position.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a critical member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and risk management. This role requires a forward-thinking financial leader with a proven track record of supporting growth and operational excellence within a complex, multi-state organization. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Financial Leadership and Strategy
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with company’s business objectives.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing guidance on fiscal policies and cost-control measures.
  • Oversee capital allocation, financial reporting, and key performance metrics to support the company’s growth.
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
  • Lead financial analysis, due diligence, and integration planning for M&A opportunities to support company’s growth strategy.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to assess strategic acquisitions, develop valuation models, and create detailed financial scenarios.
Financial Reporting and Compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reports are provided to the CEO, and Board of Directors.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and audit procedures across multiple states.
Risk Management and Corporate Governance
  • Develop and maintain robust risk management practices, including insurance, asset protection, and cybersecurity.
  • Work with the executive team to oversee corporate governance, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Operational Finance and Business Partnering
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, capital investments, and project financing, optimizing resource allocation for operational efficiency.
Team Development and Leadership
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
What you need.

To be a hero in this role, the Chief Financial Officer will have:
