Job summary

CAST INC seeks a Chief Finance and Internal Operations Officer to provide executive leadership for finance, HR, IT and operations in a fully remote US-based role. You will report to the CEO and guide budgeting, compliance, risk management and strategic planning to ensure long-term sustainability.

The role requires 7–10 years of nonprofit leadership, strong financial acumen, grants management and experience overseeing multi-functional teams. Advanced credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management or related field required.
• Advanced degree or relevant professional credentials preferred.
• Seven to ten years of progressively responsible leadership in nonprofit finance and operations.
• Experience managing complex funding sources including federal/state grants and contracts.
• Experience overseeing budgets and leading multi-functional teams.
• Strong strategic planning, budgeting and cash flow management skills.
• Excellent communication, integrity and collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and oversight of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Supervise finance, HR, IT and internal operations teams and coordinate across senior leadership.
• Manage grant/contract accounting, audits, and investment management.
• Oversee HR policies, talent development, compensation and compliance with employment laws.
• Direct information technology and operations planning to support growth and security.
• Lead risk management, internal controls and vendor management.
