Job summary

Presbyterian Villages of Michigan seeks an executive leader for Facilities Advancement (FA) to drive strategy, planning, and development across senior housing, memory care, and life plan communities. You will coordinate with the FA Committee, PVM Foundation, and Board to advance capital formation and sustainability initiatives.

The role leads multi-project portfolios, partners with HUD/MSHDA and lenders, and supervises key staff including the FA Project Analyst.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in development, finance, project management, urban planning, real estate, and/or experience commensurate with a master’s degree.
• Experience: Eight to ten years in facilities development/finance, construction management, project administration, senior living, healthcare.
• PMI/PMBOK knowledge; PMP preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of senior/subsidized housing market and sustainable development.
• Other requirements: working knowledge of aging services and entitlement programs.

Responsibilities

• Develops and leads FA 5-year strategy and planning with cross‑team alignment.
• Lead capital formation discussions with finance and external funding sources.
• Oversees development, redevelopment, and expansions of PVM communities aligned with FA plan.
• Manage staff and consultants to plan, monitor, and deliver FA projects.
• Represent the organization at hearings and with HUD/MSHDA/lenders; maintain regulatory compliance.
• Develop annual operating and pre-development budgets; provide variance analysis and forecasting.
