Job summary

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, optimize energy use, and control budgets while ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in facilities engineering and operations management.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of building MEP, HVAC, and life-safety systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of facilities engineers and maintenance technicians with vendor relationships.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment life and minimize downtime.
• Monitor building automation systems and energy management platforms to optimize performance.
• Manage departmental budgets including operating expenses and capital projects.
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate immediate repairs with minimal disruption.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
