The firm partners with innovative companies to take technically complex projects from concept to commercial reality. Acting as a hands-on development partner, the organization manages a range of workstreams including engineering, permitting, financial structuring, and commercial strategy.

They operate across a diverse set of sectors such as low-carbon fuels, grid-scale energy storage, carbon management, and clean industrial processes. The company’s business model includes both near-term service-based revenue and long-term upside participation through equity and milestone-tied success incentives.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial CEO to lead the organization through its next stage of growth. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives at the intersection of innovation and infrastructure—someone who can define strategy, build partnerships, secure funding, and oversee the delivery of capital-intensive projects across multiple verticals.

The ideal candidate brings a mix of strategic thinking, operational execution, and a deep understanding of early-stage project development.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Guide long-term planning, growth strategy, and evolution of the business model
  • Oversee financial stewardship and board-level engagement
  • Ensure compliance and governance across operating jurisdictions

Business Growth & Partnerships

  • Build relationships with innovators, commercial partners, and funders
  • Expand the company’s presence across priority market segments
  • Lead negotiations with founders, investors, and corporate stakeholders

Capital Formation & Financial Strategy

  • Secure funding from government programs, private capital, and aligned investors
  • Develop structured financing solutions for early-stage infrastructure projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with capital providers and strategic advisors

Team & Ecosystem Development

  • Build and manage a high-performing internal team across functions
  • Establish and maintain delivery partnerships with technical consultants, contractors, and advisors
  • Implement internal systems to support scalable project execution

Project Execution

  • Oversee delivery of client projects from feasibility through to investment readiness
  • Structure projects to be financeable and de-risked for long-term capital
  • Ensure transparent client communication and milestone accountability

Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years of experience in infrastructure, climate tech, or related project development fields
  • Background in early-stage or high-growth environments preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in capital raising and financial structuring
  • Familiarity with permitting, policy, and regulatory pathways
  • Strong track record of leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Values-driven leadership style with strong communication skills
