Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Multi-State Home Health Business

Location: US Remote

Reports to: Private Equity Sponsor Board

Company: Portfolio Company of a $10B+ AUM Private Equity Fund

Role:

Seeking an experienced, strategic, and operational CEO to lead a multi-site, multi-state home health business within a highly reputable private equity portfolio. The CEO will be accountable for driving scalable growth, operational excellence, and financial discipline within a lean organizational structure. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in home health care operations, sponsor-facing stakeholder management, and advanced FP&A and technical accounting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership to scale and optimize the home health business across multiple states and sites, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary executive liaison to the private equity sponsor, delivering transparent, data-driven performance reporting and strategic insights.
• Lead all FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling to support informed decision-making and capital allocation.
• Oversee technical accounting functions and collaborate closely with finance, audit, and external advisors to ensure compliance with GAAP and private equity reporting requirements.
• Drive operational efficiencies and implement best-in-class processes within a lean team, balancing growth objectives with cost discipline.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and sustainable profitability.
• Evaluate and execute strategic initiatives, including M&A opportunities, partnerships, and technology investments.

Qualifications:

• Proven CEO, President, or senior executive experience in home health or related healthcare services within a multi-site, multi-state context.
• Strong financial acumen with extensive experience in FP&A, technical accounting, and sponsor-facing communication.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, including private equity investors and healthcare regulators.
• Operational expertise in driving growth, compliance, and efficiency in a highly regulated healthcare environment.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain a lean, high-impact team.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, CPA) preferred.
