Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation in Haslet, TX seeks a Hospital CEO to lead one of our inpatient rehabilitation facilities, directing strategy and operations with a focus on compassionate care and community ties.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing operations, managing patient census, driving growth in services, and fostering an inclusive environment for staff and patients alike.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related healthcare field (preferred).
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with work experience equivalent to a Master's degree and related hospital leadership responsibilities.
• Five years of management experience in healthcare with 2–3 years in a senior management role.
• May be required to work weekdays/weekends, evenings, and/or night shifts.
• May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies set by the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and Joint Commission.
• Foster a work environment and culture that empowers the hospital and staff to fulfill Encompass Health's mission.
• Oversee hospital operations and continuously assess and enhance performance.
• Take responsibility for patient census and participate in marketing services within the community.
• Promote and maintain a culture of inclusivity and diversity in the patient environment and workplace.
• Provide motivation and celebrate team achievements along the way.

• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with work experience equivalent to a Master's degree, as demonstratedbyresponsibilitiessuchasoverseeinghospitaloperations,budgetdevelopment, analysis and oversight, marketing for volume growth and program development, FTE management, expense control, policy and procedure development and implementation, and process development to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Fiveyearsofmanagementexperienceinthehealthcareindustry,withaminimumof2-3yearsin a Senior Management position.
• Mayberequiredtoworkweekdaysand/orweekends,eveningsand/ornightshifts.
• Mayberequiredtoworkonreligiousand/orlegalholidaysonscheduleddays/shifts.
