Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Hospital Chief Executive Officer to lead a hospital, ensuring seamless operations and financial stability while staying aligned with our mission. Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in business or health administration.

• Five years of healthcare management experience, with 2–3 years in senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Governing Board/Medical Staff policies and Joint Commission standards.
• Foster a work environment that empowers hospital staff to meet Encompass Health objectives.
• Oversee hospital operations and continuously assess and enhance performance.
• Take responsibility for patient census and actively market services in the community.
• Promote inclusivity and diversity in patient care and the workplace.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related healthcare field (preferred).


• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with work experience equivalent to a Master's degree, as demonstrated by responsibilities such as overseeing hospital operations, budget development, analysis and oversight, marketing for volume growth and program development, FTE management, expense control, policy and procedure development and implementation, and process development to ensure regulatory compliance.


• Five years of management experience in the healthcare industry, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a Senior Management position.


• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts.


• May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days/shifts.
