Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Hospital CEO to lead one of our 150+ inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This role focuses on sustaining financial stability, ensuring quality care, and fostering teamwork across departments.

You will spearhead operations, patient access, and community-focused growth. The ideal candidate has advanced healthcare leadership experience and a strong track record in budget oversight, policy development, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; healthcare leadership experience highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare management, with senior-level exposure.
• Ability to oversee hospital operations, budgeting, marketing, and policy implementation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
• Foster a culture that empowers hospital staff and supports the mission.
• Oversee hospital operations and continuously assess performance.
• Lead patient census management and actively market services in the community.

Qualifications

• Master'sDegreeinBusinessAdministration,HealthcareAdministration,orarelatedhealthcare field (preferred).
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with work experience equivalent to a Master's degree, as demonstratedbyresponsibilitiessuchasoverseeinghospitaloperations,budgetdevelopment, analysis and oversight, marketing for volume growth and program development, FTE management, expense control, policy and procedure development and implementation, and process development to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Fiveyearsofmanagementexperienceinthehealthcareindustry,withaminimumof2-3yearsin a Senior Management position.
• Mayberequiredtoworkweekdaysand/orweekends,eveningsand/ornightshifts.
• Mayberequiredtoworkonreligiousand/orlegalholidaysonscheduleddays/shifts.
