Qualifications

• Four-year degree in journalism, communications, or related major.
• Eight or more years of experience in board communications, executive communications, or corporate communications.
• Exceptional writing, editing and presentation-development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write and edit board communications, including executive summaries, presentations, briefing materials, talking points and other leadership communications.
• Write monthly board reports and quarterly presentations for committees.
• Translate business, financial, operational and regulatory information into concise narratives.
• Research, write, and edit speeches and talking points for the CEO.
• Identify venues for the CEO to amplify messages regionally, nationally and internationally.
• Contribute to executive visibility planning to raise the company’s national profile.
• Monitor media trends and track speeches of healthcare leaders.
