Job summary

Independence Health Group in Philadelphia seeks an Executive Communications Manager to develop high-impact communications that inform, influence and align key stakeholders, including board members and senior leaders. You will translate complex topics into clear narratives, write board materials and CEO speeches, and coordinate executive visibility across channels, with presence at HQ and at key sites.

This role requires a four-year degree in journalism or communications and at least eight years

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in board communications, executive communications, corporate communications, or a related discipline.
• Exceptional writing, editing and presentation development skills.
• Experience supporting senior executives and highly visible leadership communications.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and create compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Strong project management, collaboration and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, write and edit board communications, including executive summaries, presentations, briefing materials, talking points and other leadership communications.
• Write monthly board reports as well as quarterly presentations for the Finance, Audit, Risk and Compliance Committees.
• Partner with Strategy, Finance, Legal, Risk and business leaders to refine content for board audiences.
• Translate business, financial, operational and regulatory information into concise narratives.
• Research, write, and edit speeches, presentations, talking points, scripts for the CEO across the enterprise.
• Support the business strategy by identifying venues for the CEO to amplify messages.
• Contribute to executive visibility planning and ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
• Staff the CEO at events and debrief with executives after presentations.
• Monitor national media and industry trends to inform communications strategy.
