Alliance Defending Freedom in Lansdowne, VA seeks a Vice President of Events to translate organizational priorities into an audience‑centered strategy. You will be the executive producer, aligning leadership, experts, producers, speakers and vendors around a single, cohesive experience.

You will provide strategic oversight of ADF's event portfolio, lead the Events Team, and make final decisions on audience engagement, production, and programming for flagship events. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 12+ years of event management experience.
• Experience in overseeing live AV production.
• Demonstrated experience supervising and developing teams.
• Hands-on experience with event technology platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including periodic international travel.

Responsabilités

• Oversee ADF's complete portfolio of events as one strategic investment, defining purpose and outcomes.
• Partner with executive leadership to prioritize events based on mission impact and capacity.
• Establish structure, roles, and decision rights for the Events Team and recruit top producers.
• Serve as executive producer for major events, ensuring audience experience alignment and timely decisions.
• Own the overall agenda, story arc, session sequence, and audience journey.
• Direct the Creative Director, Event Producer and production partners toward one vision.
