Job summary

Cvent, a leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, seeks a seasoned leader near Tyson's Corner, VA to guide our North America Event Design team and shape a strategic events program. You’ll oversee end-to-end planning for 500+ events annually, negotiating venues and vendor contracts and partnering with cross-functional teams.

You’ll collaborate with senior management on HQ initiatives, deliver timely reports, and drive cost-effective, high-impact events across the region.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of event planning or related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Team's Senior Director of Events to execute a strategic corporate event & experiential events strategy
• Manage the North America Event Design team based in the HQ (Tyson's office) responsible for producing 500+ events annually.
• End-to-End planning and execution of events of varying size, scope & scale.
• Work directly with senior management to collaborate on HQ and company-wide initiatives
• Coordinate with teams across regions and product-focused marketing organization to ensure timely delivery of reports, management updates, and data dissemination to internal teams
• Source, negotiate, evaluate, and execute various venue & vendor agreements
• Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and identify appropriate new business relationships, championing the most productive partnerships for the company
