Job summary

Bachmann Chemical and Engineering is seeking a results-driven Chief Business Officer for Equipment to lead strategic and financial performance of established product lines while architecting a new custom-solutions division. You will direct Equipment strategy, pricing, and capital planning, and build high-performing global teams to deliver growth, profitability, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in global sales/BD with engineering depth; travel internationally and strong

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in global sales, business development, and equipment-related roles with cross-functional leadership.
• BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical background; MBA or equivalent and strong business leadership.
• 10+ years of experience with industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with financial acumen.
• Ability to travel ~30-40% regionally and globally.
• Demonstrates leadership, strategic thinking, and strong communication; integrity and collaboration.
• Familiarity with legal, global regulatory, and compliance issues affecting operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct Equipment strategy, P&L, and capital performance; oversee strategic/operational plans for equipment portfolio.
• Achieve sales and gross margin targets; define pricing architecture and monitor margin leakage.
• Define equipment organizational design and build high-performing global teams; lead greenfield and existing operations.
• Ensure compliance with national/local regulations; coordinate with legal and compliance teams.
• Aggressively manage capital investments and expenses to meet investor targets for growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with BCE Holding and other units to optimize group-wide performance.
• Lead Engineering, Business Development and Applications teams to capture voice-of-market signals and accelerate revenue.
