Job summary

DC Water is seeking a Director of Enterprise, Architecture & Governance to lead the strategy, modernization, and governance of the enterprise technology environment. The role sets architecture standards, drives a unified platform strategy, and ensures investments align with organizational priorities and resilience goals.

The incumbent chairs the Enterprise Architecture Committee, overseeing approvals for enterprise technologies and guiding migration milestones across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, SAP

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with enterprise architecture, ERP/EAM platforms, integration strategy, governance, and large-scale business transformation in complex, regulated environments.
• At least 7 years of management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent with 14 years' overall enterprise architecture experience and 7 years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and evolves enterprise architecture vision, standards, and roadmaps aligned to strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Chairs Enterprise Architecture Committee; owns approval processes for technologies deployed enterprise-wide.
• Leads platform rationalization across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, SAP CCS/AMR, IBM Maximo, ArcGIS, and legacy systems.
• Develops and enforces IT governance frameworks and serves as architecture authority for critical investments.
• Mentors architects and leads centers of excellence to sustain long-term modernization programs.
