Job summary

Eaton seeks a Director of Enterprise Business Architecture to lead the development and adoption of enterprise business architecture practices, frameworks, and governance. This leader partners with business and technology executives to define enterprise capabilities, guide modernization initiatives, and enable strategic decision-making across Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Business Transformation, and/or Strategy.
• 5+ years leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across business functions.
• 5+ years of influencing senior executives and leading cross-functional programs in a large, matrixed organization.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution and adoption of the Enterprise Business Capability Model (EBCM) and operating model frameworks.
• Translate complex business and technology strategies into actionable roadmaps.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Product, Engineering, Data, and Business leaders to align capabilities and data assets.
• Establish and maintain enterprise business architecture standards, methodologies, and governance processes.
• Lead transformation initiatives across operating models, platform rationalization, and multi-year investment planning.
• Develop capability maps, value streams, process models, and governance for investments.
• Represent Business Architecture in executive reviews and governance forums.
• Drive alignment across business and technology functions on priorities and capabilities.
