Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in industrial analytics or related field.
• Experience leading data science and analytics teams.
• Ability to translate operational problems into analytic use cases with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Operational Intelligence across refinery sites.
• Develop and maintain the Operational Intelligence strategy, standards, technology roadmap, architecture, and governance model.
• Own the enterprise Operational Context Standard: asset model, vocabulary, and data quality expectations; define data contracts.
• Establish and chair the Operational Intelligence governance forum with intake path and prioritization.
• Lead, coach, and develop the central team; set priorities and ensure technical quality.
• Partner with refinery and functional leaders to identify high-value problems addressed by analytics.
• Translate needs into a governed portfolio of intelligence initiatives with clear objectives and adoption plans.
• Lead development, deployment, and sustainment of performance analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
• Define and own the production lifecycle for deployed intelligence solutions and monitoring.
• Own the Operational Intelligence evaluation standard with held-out validation and published metrics.
• Establish enterprise boundaries for analytics compute and data movement with Cybersecurity/IT.
• Own build-versus-buy standards for platforms and tools within enterprise architecture.
• Foster relationships with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and IT to drive adoption.
• Ensure analytics follow governance, documentation, and security expectations.
• Measure value delivery with baselines and post-implementation verification.
• Promote responsible AI and sustainable solution ownership.
• Travel to sites as required to understand needs and support deployment.
