Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Principal Engineer, Operational Intelligence to lead analytics across refinery operations. The role shapes the technology roadmap, governance, and portfolio of intelligence initiatives to improve performance and reliability.

You will work with Operations, Engineering, and IT to deliver data-driven insights. The role requires deep expertise in industrial analytics, data science, and leadership to build a sustainable analytics culture and ensure security, resilience, and

Qualifications

Progressive leadership in industrial analytics, data science, or OT.
Experience turning operations problems into analytic use cases with measurable outcomes.
Proven ability to deploy predictive analytics, optimization, or AI in production.
Experience with industrial time-series data and data infrastructure (e.g., PI/AVEVA).
Ability to lead across Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and IT teams.

Responsibilities

Provide enterprise leadership for Operational Intelligence across refinery sites.
Develop and maintain the Operational Intelligence strategy, standards, and governance.
Own the asset model, measurement vocabulary, and data contracts for analytics use.
Chair governance forums and prioritize operational problems for analytics solutions.
Lead development and deployment of predictive analytics and decision-support tools.
Define production lifecycle for deployed intelligence and monitor model drift and data quality.
