Landmark Hotel Group is seeking a Chief Engineer for its oceanfront property in Nags Head, NC. The role oversees maintenance and facilities, ensuring assets are reliable and visually appealing while driving cost controls and safety across the operation.

The ideal candidate has hotel Chief Engineer experience or equivalent, with journeyman-level skills in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC, plus strong leadership and budgeting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Chief Engineer experience in a hotel preferred or Chief Engineer of a commercial building including specific experience in preventative maintenance program
• Journeyman experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC trade
• Knowledge and experience in budgeting and expense control.
• Strong interpersonal/leadership skills, professional caring approach towards employees.
• Do it now approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assets are maintained to achieve maximum useful life in terms of serviceability and appearance.
• To provide effective cost controls within the department.
• Ensure aggressive guest first approach among team members and provide a friendly guest contact experience.
