Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Chief Engineer to serve as the primary technical authority, shaping the strategy and execution for our most critical programs. You will translate complex mission needs into robust, manufacturable technical solutions while leading diverse engineering teams.

This role demands deep multi-disciplinary expertise, strategic foresight, and accountability for end-to-end execution in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership overseeing complex, multidisciplinary systems.
• Experience in developing system-level CONOPS, architectures, and strategy from concept to sustainment.
• Holds or is eligible for an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Deep expertise across hardware, software, mechanical, electrical, firmware, RF, and optics.
• Experience with NPI processes and manufacturing readiness.

Responsibilities

• Define Technical Vision & Architecture translating mission gaps into system concepts.
• Lead end-to-end engineering across hardware, software, production, and core tech.
• Oversee NPI to sustainment, coordinating EMD activities with quality and production.
• Evangelize technology and build strategic partnerships with customers and external teams.
